The Kincardine Triathlon Club has an adult membership with a wide range of abilities and goals. It is comprised of every level of athlete from those with a goal of completing their first shorter distance sprint event, all the way to those who have competed in several Ironman Triathlons.
Over the course of the year the club runs many training sessions such as the weekly Sunday morning run and the spring/summer track sessions at the Davidson Centre. Winter swim practices as well as indoor cycling training, and group swim/bike and run workouts round out a full schedule of events. Certified triathlon coaches run most of these workouts.
2009 promises to be a fantastic year. The club will continue to run the "learn to run" clinics which will be schedule again for a spring and fall sessions. This program is geared to new runners who would like to learn more about how running can be a safe, healthy and fun activity.
The most important thing we strive to accomplish as a club is to do all of the above while having a lot of fun.
